UPDATE: Bear's (aka Garnett) adopter has become disabled. Bear was returned & is now retired within CARE. If you would like to help us with his $1000 boarding bill, his veterinary care, or food & toys, please donate today! We greatly appreciate it!
RETIRED IN CARE. As a senior who now does best being an only dog with the right person, we felt it is in his best interest to stay within CARE to avoid bouncing around. Unfortunately, we didn’t have any foster spots for him. Bear has been in boarding since 8/17 & will not have a foster home until early January 2018. PAST PROFILE, PRIOR TO ADOPTION: Garnett is an absolutely gorgeous boy! He is also very sweet and so smart! He already knows sit and stay and is working on leash manners. Garnett is also crate trained and housetrained. He gets along great with other dogs and plays well with the children in his foster home. They have nicknamed him "T-Bear" because he is such a big ole teddy bear. Click to learn more about the American Pit Bull Terrier and see if it's the right breed for you.
