Meet Leaf & Twig!

These two boys were born 3/23/23. They came into CARE when their previous pet parent was moving. We immediately made a vet appointment for them. They had upset stomachs from intestinal overgrowth of bacteria & were presumed to have skin mites (though none were found by the vet). Since they had some thin fur and were scratching some, we treated them anyway. Ten days of metronidazole (oral) and selamectin (topical) and these boys are feeling great!

Now that Leaf & Twig are healthy, they are looking for the forever home they deserve. Leaf is pretty outgoing. Twig is a little more timid, but both boys are extremely sweet. 

The base of their diet is Oxbow Essentials Adult Rat Food , also known as Regal Rat. We are slowing adding in safe people food to round out their diet.
