Greer's former owner let her loose in the backyard to fend for herself. This is the worst thing you can do for a domestic rabbit. Domestic rabbits dont know how to live in the wild and usually end up hit by car or prey for other animals. Greer didnt fair very well and was very thin when the neighbors called us asking for help with her. Greer has gained back all of her much needed weight, has been spayed and is just ready for her forever family! Greer is one sweetest rabbits we have. She loves attention and to be held. She also loves her fresh veggies and timothy hay. She has great litter box manners and would be a welcome addition to any home.
Breeds are always our "best guess" based on experience, weight, vet sugestions, and other factors. Adopters must be close enough to bring rabbits back to CARE for spay/neuter if not already done. A $50 Neuter deposit is required in addition to the adoption fee. Once the spay/neuter is complete the deposit will be refunded. All rabbits receive a veterinary exam and are spay/neutered through CARE. Each rabbit is fed a high quality rabbit pellet, timothy hay, and fresh fruits and vegetables.
