Sadie is a sweet and friendly lady. She is reserved with strangers and takes her time to warm up to new people and places. Sadie is a smart and curious girl. She likes to be given space to stand back and take everything in at her own pace. She likes a matter-of-fact approach to things and does not want to be coddled or felt sorry for. She comes when called and stands in line with the other dogs in her foster home for her biscuit. She wants to be with you and involved in everything; she just has to do it at her own pace. Sadie is something else and is going to make someone very happy! Sadie is housetrained. She will stand by the door when she needs to go out. She is not leash trained and will therefore need a fenced yard. Sadie relates well to other dogs and needs at least one other canine companion in her adoptive home. Send us your application now to bring this special lady home for the holidays. All dogs receive a rabies vaccine, distemper/parvovirus vaccine(s), dewormer, monthly heartworm prevention, microchip, and are spayed/neutered through CARE. If old enough, dogs are tested for Heartworms and treated by CARE if positive. A completed adoption application and home visit are required to adopt a dog. We do adopt out of state. The most complete information about available dogs, including their current age and adoption fee, can be found on our official website at www.caretoadopt.org.
