DISTINGUISHING TRAITS...
Vance is a beautiful boy! His markings are opposite of most dogs - he has black on his chest, and his body is tan. He is stunning!
HOME/FAMILY LOOKING FOR...
Vance, like most German Shepherds, is a super smart dog. His ideal adopter is someone who will provide training for him to tap into that potential.* An older dog to learn from would also be great for him. He is learning from his foster siblings already! Vance can be a bit rowdy, so older kids would be best. He is learning in foster care to Sit calmly for petting and meals, so once he is a little more mature, younger children may be fine for him as well.
If you think Vance could be The One for you, contact us today. This write-up describes his IDEAL home, but please contact us if you are interested, even if that doesn't describe you. It is impossible to fully describe a pet in a brief write-up, so a conversation is best!
*Woof University, LLC will give a $20 cash rebate to anyone who adopts a CARE dog and brings them to ALL 6 classes in a Basic Obedience Session.
A completed adoption application and home visit are required for approval to adopt a CARE dog. We do adopt out of state if all vetting is complete. The most accurate and complete information about available dogs can be found on our official website at www.caretoadopt.org.
