Balto is retired in CARE. We took him into our program because he was headed to a local shelter where he likely would have been euthanized. Balto's family (single mom & 2 young kids) had to move & he was left behind due to an apartment breed ban. He was scared, sick & starving when a CARE volunteer picked him up at an abandoned home. Balto was basically living on a trash pile. :(

Balto is very protective of his person & home. For this reason, we have made him a "sanctuary pet" and he will remain safe in our program. Please consider donating to CARE to help us provide a quality life for Balto.
