Emily helps kids learn to read -- Thursday August 9th, 2012

Emily was in grave danger when she came to CARE. She was a stray just trying to survive, and someone was trying to shoot her. It was a race to who could get her first, her rescuer or her killer.

Fortunately for Emily and the children at Park North Apartments in Lexington, Emily was saved. Her adoptive mom trained her to be a therapy dog. She was recently featured on WIS news. Read the full article here.
